Tradition

He who throws up sleeps on the kitchen floor.
The boys have all had a turn sleeping on the kitchen floor in the last week. Charlie even threw a huge tantrum last night because he thought Theron was stealing his bed. Travis and I are responsible enough to be exempt from this tradition. It just means that one of us has to sleep on the couch close by. Good times at our house this week.

I feel bad that you guys aren't feeling well. I'm just happy that we weren't the instigators of such unhappiness in your house. We have a tendency to do that. Hope you are all feeling better before next week.

No Fun! But I'm a little lost on the "bed on the kitchen floor" idea. We just give our kids a "puke bowl" and they go to their own beds. We haven't had any accidents. Maybe it has to do with the way your house is setup? Who knows...but if it works, then keep on keeping on! =)

In reference to the last comment...See? Quirky. Very Quirky. Add it to your list!

I have no idea what she was saying in the last comment. Dang it I need to be on the inside! This though is definitely one tradition I find quite funny! Minus the whole puking thing. I hope everyone feels better soon

Gotta love the stomach flu! As you can imagine, I bring all kinds of fun things home from work that my family doesn't appreciate. Somehow, I usually manage to avoid the symptoms :) Actually, Nate had a GI bug for the first time recently, and I was quite impressed with the way he kept the rotating buckets in his bed. Hope you're all doing better by now!

Poor kids. I HATE that stuff worse than almost any sickness. It brings back memories of a little trip we all made to Indiana, or better yet, the little trips we all tried to make home. Fun memories. :) We miss you guys. We are grateful for your blog to see what is happening with you.
