Something to smile about

Theron and Isaac had a basketball game this morning. Theron made a basket and Isaac had a couple of really great shots. When the game was over we had a pretty big downer. Isaac and Theron's coats were no longer in the gym. We keep telling ourselves that someone surely took them by mistake. Whatever happened...they are gone. Theron managed to lift our spirits moments later by announcing the loss of another item...his tooth. Now his mouth is symmetrical!

Happy Birthday Charlie

This post somehow got overlooked.  What a tragedy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE BOY!!

It was lots of fun doting over Charlie on his birthday.  We asked him where he wanted to go for his birthday and he instantly decided, "Red Lobster!"  Travis wasn't very excited about his choice and wanted to know how he even knows about Red Lobster.  TV, I guess.

The only thing Charlie cared about that night was getting to try lobster.  I think it was a bit of a let down for all of the boys as they didn't enjoy the lobster very much.  Travis was excited about not having to go back for a very long time. I remember when Red Lobster came to our town.  I was in sixth grade and our class took a field trip there for lunch.  It was so exciting to go to a "fancy" restaurant.  Most of the girls wore dresses and the boys got dressed up as well.  It was a pretty big deal.

Charlie got to be student of the week for his birthday; a major highlight.  For that he brought in photos of himself and family.  Here he is here all ready for crazy hair day.

We sure do love you Charlie!

Surgery day

Charlie was so brave. He kept taking slow deep breaths trying to keep control of himself. He was so sweet. It was somewhat stressful for me. I wanted to leave the hospital with the same giggling toothless blondy that I went in with, but you just never know. We were watched over and he came out just fine. He'll be taking it easy for a couple more days and then he'll be back to his usual silly self.
