After some extensive journal research I have determined that Theron has been calling Isaac "Larry" since June, 2007. This nickname came about when Isaac discovered Veggie Tales. Larry, the cucumber is one of the main characters in these Tales and quickly became Isaac's idol, especially when Larry played "Larry Boy" (a superhero cucumber).
Isaac has been caught, on many occasions, introducing himself to others as Larry. We frequently feel an urgent need to explain to strangers that we did not name our boy Larry.
Theron faithfully calls Isaac Larry. We often hear Theron yelling at the top of his lungs, "LAAAAA-RREEEEEE!!" The events that follow this yell are usually not pleasant.
Isaac hasn't been much of an artist until a few months ago when he started bringing pictures home from preschool that were more than a few effortless scribbles.
He came home from school with this picture of Larry Boy that he drew...or maybe it is a self portrait.

I love those SUPER SUCTION EARS!!!! Marshall's favorite Larry Boy episode is Larry Boy and the Bad Apple. We also LOVE Veggie Tales. I think my new favorite is Gideon, Tuba Warrior.

Is that one of the side-effects of watching veggie-tales? I think it's really cute.
Interesting. Laird gets called Larry all the time and I have to say no, Laird. I am glad to have another picture of Larry in my mind than an old bald guy!
