Garden time

After the drive-in activity Travis and I cleaned out some of the garden. We (especially Trav) will be sad to see the garden bite the dust with the first frost. It's only a matter of time now. Trav can only imagine a few things better than a plate full of garden tomatoes with a little salt and fresh ground pepper. ...oh yeah and Charlie boy was our cute side kick.

Does anyone really truly comprehend what it is like to feast on garden tomatoes? One must savor, no relish the exquisite combinations of juice, pulp, seed, and skin to even inherit a small conviction of how wonderful garden tomatoes are. A person must eat a dozen, nay two dozen thin or thickly sliced (with the sharpest knife ever!) placed atop a perfectly brown and toasted piece of bread with a small portion of mayo and a pinch of salt and pepper. Don't forget, in order to remember the exquisite mouth-watering experience, one must eat the delectable dish with a fork and knife careful to cut and place tomato, bread, mayo, salt, and pepper evenly on the fork and in proportion to the size of one's mouth so as not to choke and thus create a traumatic memory of garden tomatoes instead of a lovely and blissful dream! haha.
