Charlie's birthday

Holding true to birthday tradition, Charlie woke up to breakfast in bed. The sleepy five year old could barely keep his eyes open.

At 5 years old Chralie is learning to ride his bike, swim, and read. He really likes to be with friends and loves baby Blake. He is frequently heard telling jokes and has a few good ones. His most commonly told joke is "Knock, knock. (Who's there?) Boo. (Boo who?) Oh, it's ok baby. It's only a joke."
Charlie wanted a strawberry cake with strawberry icing. Knowing that he would end up with a PINK cake I tried to get him to choose something else or let me color the icing. He just looked at my like that was such a foolish suggestion..."strawberry isn't blue," he must have been thinking.

Charlie got a "sport suit" last year for his birthday and was pretty disappointed a few weeks ago when I told him that he had outgrown it. Then the light turned on and he said, "Good thing I can just get another one for my birthday." Good thing I found one.

He is my favorite! A pink cake is awesome and yes he is right strawberry is not blue. I love his track suit too! And that first picture is the spitting image of how I remember Theron
