Thumb Sucker

I caught the girl in the act of sucking her thumb and snapped this photo. I later noticed the two binkis in the bed right beside her. Evidence of our futile attempts to keep from having a thumb sucker. It doesn't seem to matter how hard we try she prefers her thumb to the bink when its time to sleep.

And let's be honest...she is sleeping through the night so...really...I'm not trying too hard to disrupt that habit.

Laura said...: James stopped sucking his thumb at about 4 or even 3, but some nights I go into his room and he is at it again. I think the habit can be a hard one for them to break, but I also think some kids just need it that way. She is adorable. Love her blanket!; January 17, 2012 at 12:43 PM
