My Poor Boy

I just finished a phone conversation with my boy Trav and...whew... I miss him!! He misses me too. I know because he told me so. I also know because he went to the grocery store and bought:

3 cartons of Lactaid
3 bags of chips
3 containers of yogurt--I can't even remember the last time I saw him eat yogurt
fresh salsa--so like him
Tostidos salsa--no surprise
french onion dip
donuts
dried apricots--"Something healthy," he tells me.
soap
face lotion

I am sure the check out girl was confused when she saw his wedding ring because he was shopping like a true bachelor. I think he would be the first to admit he feels lost without us. We're not having such a great time without him either.

I gave him all the left overs from our BBQ last week - but I guess it wasn't enough to survive too long!

It was fun to see you and I am so glad you were able to put a blog post on. I love you Britt. You are the best friend I have ever had and I can't stand the fact that you and Travis and the kids have to go through what you are going through. I was so glad to see you are doing better than I thought you would be doing. Hang in there and call me if you need anything. I am only three hours away.

wow! Sorry you guys are going through this. Wish we were closer to help out...somehow. Hope all is well, Britt. Keep up the good work, Mary Poppins. Miss you guys.
(Maren's sister, Kara, had supercalifragilisticexpialadocious performed a year ago--she's doing great)

I wish we could be there to help and to feed Travis. Glad he bought those apricots to stay healthy:) I hope your family will be reunited soon.

Sad thing about that salsa for Travis is it's not Los Hermanos salsa. But don't worry about him. If his grandpa could survive behind enemy lines in WWII France, he can survive the absence of his Number One. Especially since it sounds like your local friends/neighbors are treating him as well as the people of St. Brieuc treated Grandpa.
We're so glad we got to see you guys for a little while. We think of you often and hope your recovery is going well.

I think I've shopped with Travis when he had this very list at Macey's. Only that was a decade ago. I just have one question for him - did he write TP on the top of each yogurt and the salsas?

I agree with BB - we enjoyed seeing Britt and the boys a few weeks back and are also hoping for a quick recovery and reunion with the Total Package.
