These are some of my favorite flowers in our yard. They are commonly referred to as Indian Cup Flowers. I think this may be because the leaves hold water close to the stems. The flowers look like a small sunflower.
My only regret this year is that they grew so tall it is difficult to actually look at them and enjoy.
