The first self help book I ever read was Don't Sweat the Small Stuff--and it's all small stuff by Richard Carlson. I learned to let a lot of things roll off my back and keep going without fretting too much.
This week we spilled a total of six glasses of milk (and one of water) at mealtime. Somehow everything I learned about small stuff left my brain as I became more uptight with each spill. Could it be because milk is outrageously expensive at $3.00 a gallon? Could it be because I washed way too many place mats and pot holders this week? Could it be because cleaning up milk messes makes my kitchen rags forever smell rotten? I wish I felt justified in using one of these as a worthy excuse but I know that this is small stuff.
Now that I have come to this conclusion I am ready to stop 'sweating' and enjoy the Christmas holiday! Merry Christmas!

Words to live by and a good thing to remember this time of year!
I have been there too. Maybe only 2 or 3 glasses but same idea. Merry Christmas, we missed you the other night.
Ok so I switched to all white kitchen towels. I bought a million of them and everyday I switch them out for a new one and I bleach the ones I use on laundry day. I think bleaching them has made it so I no longer have stinky rags. I am so happy. Or it may be our first conclusion that rags stink worse in Ohio. Good luck.
I could probably let the first three roll off my back but after that I would probably be rolling it onto everyone elses. JK I just plan on having spilled glasses and then when it doesn't happen it's just a bonus:)
Ugh. I hate spilled milk. You never quite get it all cleaned up and it forever smells. It is hard not to get upset about milk being spilled when it happens over and over and over again. I vote for sippy cups still! :)
Hey Petersons! It's Kerry's roomie Steph- T-ravie you know the one :) Your boys are adorable! Are you guys close to Delaware, OH by any chance?
